Mad Dogs by Robert Muchamore

Mad Dogs is another great book of the amazing kid spy series Cherub.

In this one, James( the main character) is trying to infiltrate two crazy thug gangster clubs called the Runts and the Slasher Boys. The Runts are mainly just a whole lot of youth gangsters that put together a club, they are mainly killer, drug addicted maniacs with no sense cunning or smarts.

The Slasher Boys on the other hand, are led by a man named Major Dee. These guys mean business. Get in their way, they'll take out there shotguns and machetes, slice and shoot you up then dump you somewhere to rot. Thats why they're called the Slasher Boys. And the Slasher Boys are mostly made up of Caribean people or just mainly(please ignore my racist term, sorry) black people.

But all the information retrieved by James and his friends recovered led to another gangster club, Mad Dogs.

The Mad Dogs are the smallest, but possibly the most dangerous gangster club of all. Their leader Sasha is a extremely organized, cunning and smart gangster. James and his friend Bruce get into Mad Dogs, and gets on Sasha's good side. But of course, they are sent on more drug sales missions.

My favorite part of the book is when James accidentally starts a crazy gangster war between the Mad Dogs and the Slasher Boys. But the Mad Dogs tricked the Slasher Boys and the Runts, due to Sasha's cunning. The Slasher Boys were expecting about 20 people to show up for the Mad Dogs, but instead he got about 50 people show up for the Runts. I'm afraid that I have forgotten how Sasha tricked the Slasher Boys and the Runts, so I won't be able to tell you.
