Pilgrims of Rayne

Pilgrims of Rayne by J.C; Machaleis the eighth book of the Pendragon series

Pendragon goes to Ibara. A nice peaceful island with a village called Rayne.
Bobby later finds out that Ibara is actually the future of VEELOX! He also finds the Traveler of Ibara is a total rebel! Literally! He goes against everything the tribune, which is the council of Rayne, says and always gets in trouble with the police of Ibara.
In this certain book, i can't really say much without giving too much stuff away about the book.
So sorry!Oh, and the ending will surprise you so MUCH!

The Quillan Games

The Quillan Games by J.C. Machale

The seventh book of the Pendragon series. In this book, Pendragon goes to the territory of Quillan. There everything is all grey and seemingly boring. Then Bobby finds out that, you have to put your life on the line just to get some money. And you have to do it everyday! You have to play games in a arcade. When you think of an arcade, you'd probably think, happy, fun, kids, and laughing. But in these arcades, it's serious and silent. You HAVE to win or else you would be taken away to be either enslaved or put in another bad job. The people running all of this are Blok. It's a company that controls everything. They have strategized so well, that they are, in a way, able to control peoples lives. They put other companies out of business by putting their prices so cheap, that nobody can resist them. So it started from there.

Blok controls the people, making them bet in games, play in games, and compete in games just to survive. And then there are these competitions. Bobby first learns about this, when a huge screen appeared showing to people Veego and LaBerge, which are the masterminds behind the crazy competitions. Bobby sees a Tato match, which is a fighting game, on the screen. And one of the competitors happened to be a Traveler. When the Traveler dies in the match, Bobby panics and is frantic. Then in the end, Bobby becomes a challenger, which is what they called the competitors. Bobby is faced with many dangerous and life threatening 'games', one of which, you have to get some flags, while dodging razor sharp disks.

Black Water

Black Water, 5th book of the Pendragon series.

Pendragon has chased Saint Dane to Eelong, a remote jungle based territory. Here he gets the welcome he'll never forget. A red eyed lizard attacks him, only to be driven of by quigs, which happen to be HUMANS! But then he is saved by the real 'people' of this territory, specificaly a huge, cat on two feet, or paws or whatever. These cats have apposable thumbs and great intelligence just like humans. But the humans, called gars on Eelong, are just the opposite( or are they?). Bobby gets saved by Boon, the best-friend/acolyte of the future don't-wanne-be Traveler, Kasha, who is the daughter of Seegen the current traveler, whose acolyte is named Yorn. Seegen is killed, and Pendragon and the rest have to figure out something before Saint Dane strikes.

I like this book, because it's more interesting than the others, with surprising parts and amazing parts.

The Reality Bug

The Reality Bug, the 4th book of the great series of Pendragon.

In this book, Pendragon goes to Veelox a nearly abandoned territory, abandoned because of technology. A great scientist of Veelox created the Life Light, a virtual reality, that can let you live what your mind and soul desires. Everyone is in the lifelight. And the territory is crumbling slowly, but getting faster every time a person dies in the lifelight. Bobby meets Aja Kilian, the Traveler of Veelox. She created a virus designed to crash the Life Light. But then Saint then riggs it and makes it a killing bug that will rip through people's minds and make the life light a nightmare life instead of people's dream worlds.

I like this book because it gives you an idea of what kind of amazing things could be invented and what could it do to corrupt your life. This book will keep you hanging and when suddenly every thing is ok suddenly everything becomes not ok. This is a great sci-fi version of a Pendragon book and I will keep reading.

The Never War

3rd book of the popular Pendragon series.

This book takes Pendragon back to 1937 in First Earth, the past of Second Earth. Here he meets Gunny von Dyke the traveler of First Earth. When Bobby first arrives with Spader the Cloral traveler, he ends up getting a job at the Manhattan Hotel, where Gunny works as a Captain Bellhop. They get in business with Maximillian Rose, a big time gangster. After they get hooked up, they have to get more information. So Gunny happens to know the best place, in Third Earth, the future of First and Second Earth. Then when they get back, through Rose, they uncover a plot to blow up the Hindenburg, a huge blimp which happens to be carrying Rose's payment for the Government secrets he's been selling to the Germans.

I like this book because it goes back in history at the famous time of 1937 when the Hindenburg is blown up. It's very exciting and interesting.

The Merchant Of Death, Pendragon by D.J Machale

Pendragon is another amazing fiction and adventure series filled with different worlds, beings, races, and fights.

This series is all about Bobby Pendragon, a 14 year old kid whose biggest worry used to be if Courtney Chetwynde, his friendly rival who has a crush on him, likes him.

But then one night, Bobby's fun Uncle Press comes to him at night right in the extreme surprise make out session with Courtney who came a few minutes before Uncle Press. Press tells Bobby to come with him and says that people need their help. In the end Bobby is riding at the back of Uncle Press' motorcycle at full speed toward an abandoned subway station in Bronx, Manhattan. There he meets a bunch of 'quigs' which in that certain case were humongous dogs, and I'm not talking huge rottweiler or something, I mean HUGE, as in 3 and a half feet high and 4 and half feet long!!!!!! Then they also meet their main enemy who in a way created the quigs, Saint Dane. Then theres a gun fight between Uncle press and Saint Dane. Few minutes late Bobby's flying down a flume, a portal between worlds/territories.

Bobby later finds out that he is a Traveler, people that can travel through flumes and send things throung the flumes.

He is now on the territory Denduron, a medieval territory in peril, with two clans one treated like slaves to the other clan, and the other clan are flat out mean to them!!

Go and read it
